Include the code in the page where you need to detect the type of device that your  visitors use and  then display  suitable contents for them. I use this code to redirect my website users to a mobile version of my site . Hope this device detection code will help you ..

removing blogger default navbar affect incoming traffic? Blogspot tips for new bloggers

Every blogger knows that most of the default template sets that google will give us when we are making a new blog will be having a navigation bar , in css it is styled as nav-bar.

Today i made a study on that blog navigation bar . I just need to know whether it is helping to drive some traffic to my site.

I clicked and clicked on the "Next Blog>>" link in the nav bar .I arrived at a conclusion that it helps new bloggers to  help some traffic but it is not necessary to get traffic from the nav bars of other sites. The sites that we reach when we click on the blogger nav bar is 100% random. Some  with the nav bar and some without .

When i did a search on this topic i found a discussion on google groups . One guy told that he is getting 25% new traffic from this nav bar of blogger.


If you need to track how many visit you are getting from nav bar of other sites just count those who are landing on the page http://techworld2k.blogspot.in/?expref=next-blog after replacing my blog name with yours. How to Recover a deleted file from computer - File recovery tool for windows

Recuva can recover everything that you have  deleted from your  computer . It can also recover any drives .
Suppose if you need to recover something from your pen drive or memory card  , just connect it to your pc=>Run recuva=> Select your pen drive/Memory card and start scanning.

Fully recovering is not possible in some cases like , if you have used the drive , memory card or pen drive for  a long time ; so the space where the deleted file have occupied allocated for new files that you have added to the drive.

So if you deleted something from a drive and if you need to recover that file then never use it again until the deleted file is recovered.

There are a lot of other recovery tools available ; but i stopped searching further for new ones when found this one , Because it had all that  i need..

Google's driverless cars designed to exceed speed limit

Google's self-driving cars are programmed to exceed speed limits by up to 10mph (16km/h), according to the project's lead software engineer.

It is because when surrounding vehicles were breaking the speed limit, going more slowly could actually present a danger, and the Google car would accelerate to keep up.

Google's driverless prototypes have been widely tested on roads in the US.

The UK will allow driverless cars on public roads from 2015.

Google first announced its driverless car division in 2010, and has been testing its technology in modified cars built by other manufacturers.

The cars have travelled on more than 700,000 miles of open road, mostly in California.

In May, the US tech firm said it would start building its own self-driving cars.

The bubble-shaped vehicles will seat two people, propulsion will be electric, and to begin with they will be limited to 25mph (40km/h) to help ensure safety.

In July, the UK government announced that driverless cars will be allowed on public roads from January next year.

Save feature in facebook

Facebook recently  added a new feature to the users timeline . This new feature enables users to save the posts that we see in our feeds.

Hundreds of posts will daily come in front of us. But we cannot mark the interested ones. This new feature is really helpful. We can save a post and it will go right into the saved posts folder so that we can find them whenever we want.

When ibnlive reported wrong about m tracker

Some days before i saw an article from cnn ibn on there website . The article was on an app called "M tracker ". Cnn reported that this app can be used to keep the mosquitoes away as it makes some high frequency sounds harmful to them.

I decided to try that app and got it installed in a device.
Initially the app felt interesting because it pointed out our exact location on maps.

After that the app wanted us to know from us how much mosquitoes here we have .

Then i understood what the app is really doing . It collects data about the mosquito concentration in a place and stores it into their database . When another user uses the app from the same location then it will display what they have collected from the first user from  that place.
 The app simply tracks the mosquitos.


There are many foolish apps like this one in appstore . But i was wondering about the author of that article  in ibn.
